I'm really bad with subjects. Okay, so this is probably going to be a long drawn out babble, but okay, here it goes. So this afternoon, I was getting ready for the tailgate party at the church, for some reason I just decided to go all out and make my makeup nice, and dress up a little bit. (or, well, dressed up for me was my jeans, and a rolling stones t-shirt.) But anyway, so I left and went up to the church, but I was a little bit bored cause there weren't many people there, except Holly and two of her friends. So anyway, we were sitting on the tailgate of this one truck (making it literally a tailgate party.) and this red car drives up, it's a pretty car, and this guy gets out and comes over to holly and hugs her and is all "hi" to her and she introduces her other two friends and he asked me what my name was again cause I guess he didn't hear it. and he kinda stood there for a minute and it was kind of awkward but then he said he liked my guitar necklace. So, we talked for a little while, and he asked if I was going to the game, and I told him I wasn't, and cause I don't really like sports. But then I thought to myself..."you know what? I should go ahead and go to the game" so I got my mom to give me money to get a ticket, and we rode over there in her friend's car (you know what, he needs a name..let's call him...Steven.), so we rode over there in Steven's car. And I walked with him over to the bleachers and Holly and her friends sat over there for a little bit and then they magically disappeared down to the next bleachers but Holly's friend Selena kept showing up every few minutes being all "BE ROMANTICCCC!" and "YOU KNOW YOU LIKE HIM, ASK HIM OUT!" and made us take a picture together. But he and I talked the entire game, but about half way through I left to go to the bathroom and Selena asked me if I liked him, and I told her yes and she went and asked Steven if he liked me and she came back and told me he said yes, so when I got back, he asked me if I was busy next week, and I told him I wasn't and he asked me if I wanted to go out, and I told him yes but that I'd have to ask my mom first. And we were having fun talking and everything but then his dad walked up and told him he needed trash bags from walmart and he had to leave. He asked if I wanted to go with him, and I would have but I called my mom to ask and she said no because she'd never met him. Which I can understand but still, I wanted to go. But I didn't. I stayed, I went looking for Holly, then I had to go to the bathroom and then lost her again, and tracked down anybody familiar that I recognized and finally found a lady from my church, and used her phone to call Holly's dad, and found him, and then waited with him til we found Holly. She had abandoned me to go hang out with some guy named mike or matt or something, and told me she'd been making out with him or whatever and I went with her back to her house, and I asked her how long she'd known Steven, she said she knew him a long time, and her mom knew him too, so I asked her mom to talk to my mom about him so that hopefully she would say yes to letting me go out. So then I came home and I'm here and I'm tired D: But I'm so glad that I went tonight. (: Even though my head is killing me.
AND I TOLD YOU THIS WAS GOING TO BE A LONG BABBLE. Congratulations if you read it all. (:
Oh, and something we have in common is that we're both homeschooled. I thought that was pretty interesting since I don't meet very many homeschooled people my age.

So, I'm sitting here, talking to Mia on MSN, listening to Beverly Hills by Weezer. I know it'll list my song as different by the time I post this, cause I don't type THAAAAAAT fast, but okay. Last weekend I went to waco, with my friend Holly. At first I kind of wished I didn't tell her I was going, I figured she'd probably start making me irritated by the time we were going home, but suprisingly she didn't. We went to the mall first, I had to go on a ~quest to see if I could locate this one pretty Nirvana shirt I saw on a JC Penney's commercial. But I didn't find it. ): I did find it on the website, however. So anyway, we left JC Penney's and walked down to Hot Topic, and Spencer's, and I nearly lost Holly twice on the way. They've got that mall so turned around these days I can barely find my way around it, unless I come in the side by Sears, and don't go any further down than Spencer's or Journeys. D: One thing I've noticed, though, is that the people that work at Hot Topic are probably the nicest people of everyone that works at that whole mall. They're always so nice, like when you come in they're like "HEEEEYY HOW ARE YOUU? :D" But anyway, I looked around and I found ANOTHER Nirvana shirt, this one's got a picture from Unplugged, and of course I had to get it. And that's when my mom came in and was like "OH HEY, IT'S 1:00! THE MOVIES START AT 1:25!" so we had to go. I wish I could have rode the escalators, though. ): Next was the event we'd all been waiting for. Well, for what Holly and I had been waiting for. THE DARK KNIGHT! We were, like, almost ten minutes late for the movie but the previews were still showing, so we didn't miss anything. The movie was amazing, but it was the longest two and a half hours of my life considering I had to go to the bathroom really bad, but refused to miss any of the movie. I was so happy that I finally got to see it, although I'd wished Mia would have been there to see it with me D: After that we met with my aunt and uncle for lunch at a restaurant called Rosa's, then we went to Rue21. I only had $40 so I only bought a dress at Rue21 for $2 which would come back to haunt me. We drove over to Best Buy to pick my brother up and then went to Hastings. Oh, how I love that store. If I lived in Waco I would definitely work there. I went straight over to the DVDs and grabbed the two things I'd been waiting to get all day long. Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II. My mom dropped us off there while she went to Big Lots, so we were just walking around looking at different stuff. My mom came back and we were about to leave when I saw a rack of hats, so I decided to go look at them. I found a The Used hat, I would have gotten it, if it weren't for the fact that I had no more money, and I don't really wear hats. But THENNNN, THEN. I turned the corner, I turned the corner and looked. And you know what I saw? I saw country music. I looked a little bit further, and I discovered that Hastings sells vinyl records. It's safe to say it was love at first sight, as I started flipping through the records to see what I could find, even though i couldn't buy anything else. THAT'S WHEN I SAW IT. I SAW A SMALL BLUE PACKAGE, WITH A TRANSPARENT MAN ON THE FRONT. THIS WOULD BE THE SLIVER/DIVE 7" SINGLE. FOR ONLY $3.99. BUT NO, I COULDN'T GET IT. D: So then we had to leave, but not before Holly and my brother journeyed off to find a bathroom since the Hastings bathrooms were both out of order, it was pretty funny watching them run across the Hastings parking lot to get to Fuddruckers. When they got back we finally left, stopping by Wendy's on the way out of town. At first we had to squeeze in to get comfortable, since the truck is only supposed to seat three and the four of us were squeezed in. But by the time we got on the highway, I had my legs crossed and Holly had her legs across my lap and was laying against my brother's side. But yeah, you can probably guess I was tired, but I called Mia and talked to her for a few hours anyway. (:
I think this is long enough, so I will leave you with a simple rhetorical question.

sound effects and overdramatics So there's Sometimes I Just Go For It by The Used, there's Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness by Smashing Pumpkins, Home by the Foo Fighters, and My Immortal by Evanescence. Intensities In Ten Cities by Chiodos, too. Those are all some of the prettiest piano songs I've heard, but last night when I was randomly looking around on youtube, I found this:
That's probably the prettiest of them all. And what amazes me is that he played that, making it up as he was playing it. (: Current Mood: creativeCurrent Music: Guns N' Roses - November Rain | |

YAY FOR FIRSTS, YES? so this is my first entry. It's very unlikely that anyone will ever read this, other than Mia, if I decide to post and be like her and say "GO READ MY LIVEJOURNAL, FOOL." Which I should :D I don't know what's up with this layout, it being all out of shape, and quite frankly it's making me mad...but I don't care enough to do anything about it. But yeah, I don't have much to say right now so yeah.
THIS ENTRY WAS BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE INSISTING OF THE PERSUASIVE FRIEND NAMED MIA. (:
